Now you finish reading through the 24 assignments about my endeavors and reflections, you must have more or less some understanding of who I am, or perhaps even envisioned me based on these words.
To you, I am a senior who is about to graduate in just a few days. In What’s in a Name, you learned my Chinese name and its meaning. In As Time Goes Bye-Bye and Futures – Fantasy and Facts, you learned that I want to become a lawyer who could earn a lot of money when I grow up, yet I do not want to stress myself out. In Look Who I Look Up to, you learned about qualities that I wish I possessed. In Advice to the Young Lessons I Learned After it was Too Late, and The Perfect Present you learned about my regrets as I document the things I wish I could have done. I am a person who is bad at socializing and public speaking, yet I wish I can become more extroverted and active. In One Medium Suitcase and Always say Never, you learned about what I like and what I dislike. I like delicious food, music of all styles, dancing, and memories, while I dislike books that are very cheesy and one-dimensional, trips that live in bad places, and writing essays. You also gained a peek into my personality as you read through My Personal Alphabet, My Own List of Lists, and The Examined Life. I care a lot about friends and family. I am rational and am willing to try out new things, but I tend to have poor self-regulation and am disorganized.
I believe in your mind there floats an image of me after reading my portfolio. This portfolio records my life from the past to the present to the future. This will become a sweet memory as I come back to read it after 10 years, reminiscing the person I was when I am 18 and comparing my dreams with reality. I look forward to that day.
